Natural, linseed oil stain without solvents, suitable for interior and exterior use. Especially suitable for the treatment of log houses, wooden facades, garden furniture, floors. Linseed oil stain soaks deep into the wood, highlighting its structure; the stain has good resistance to wear, it protects wood from the impact of sun UV rays and is very durable. Wood engrained with linseed oil stain is protected from the impact of moisture and damage. Wood painted with linseed oil remains natural and breathes.
How to use the stain. The surface of the wood should be dry and cleaned from dirt. Please stir the stain well before using. The drying time is approximately 24 hours, then you can repeat the staining if necessary. The drying time is indicated at 20°C air t° and can differ according to the type of wood and smoothness of the surface. The temperature of the working surface and the surrounding environment should be at least +8°C, and the relative humidity of the air can’t exceed 80%.
Conditions to be observed when staining with a linseed oil stain, or how to stain with a linseed oil stain.
Weather conditions suitable for staining.
Staining can be performed if the air temperature ranges from +10oC, till +30oC and air relative humidity ranges from 45 – 80%. Ideally suitable conditions are from 18oC – 25oC, air relative humidity – 45% – 65%. It is not recommended to stain in expressly hot weather if the surface is subject to active insolation. It is prohibited to stain wet surfaces, or freshly sawn timber with humidity above 18%.
Consumption of the paint: 1 l for 12 m2, by applying the stain in two layers according to the absorption abilities of the wood.
In unopened natural packaging, the product can be stored for two years starting from the manufacturing date.
